About us
INVISIBLE project within Visible Invisible Foundation is an inspiration
for a change for the better, understanding for equality
and the acceptance of diversity - in synergy with all kinds of abilities.
We inspire and we act.
We start here and now, in this space where everyone has equal opportunities and possibilities, and where diversity is valued and inspires to create a better world. We are co-creating a society where people with disabilities are visible, accepted and important.
Why INVISIBLE?
The name of our project derives from the real situation of people with disabilities who often feel and de facto are, so to speak, invisible in society; facing numerous barriers that hinder their full participation in life.
However, for us, this word is not a sign of powerlessness, but a symbol of the struggle for visibility, acceptance and equality for people with disabilities. The INVISIBLE project seeks to change the social perspective towards disability, promoting innovation, inclusion and accessibility.
The eye symbol, which is part of our logo, has a profound meaning.
The eyes are a tool of perception, and we want to encourage society to look carefully at the needs and potential of people with disabilities. The eye symbol in our logo also symbolises our vision of a society that is more open, aware and equal for all.
The INVISIBLE project within Visible Invisible Foundation
The social mission we have undertaken is to strive to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities by promoting social inclusion, developing innovative solutions and awareness of the economic power of people with disabilities.
Our goal is equality, social activism and increased civic awareness to create a more inclusive and sustainable society.
INVISIBLE - Three pillars of action.
The first is education and public awareness, implemented through an educational platform, the publication of a blog and the organisation of outreach activities.
The second pillar is the collaboration and integration of the potentials of the non-disabled and disabled community - because we believe in the power of synergy.
Our periodic hackathons, or innovation marathons, will become a space for collaborative creation and development of innovative solutions. Ultimately, the hackathons will become an innovation incubator, supporting the development and scaling of high-potential projects. Together we will build a society where every person has an equal opportunity to develop and achieve their goals.
The third is consumer support for people with disabilities by promoting the need to have access to innovative, ergonomic and well-designed products.
Our goal is social activation and increasing awareness of the economic power of people with disabilities
